KPT (Kindergarten Puppy Training) For puppies 7-12 weeks old. Usually covers biting, housebreaking, leash breaking, etc. Normally done in private lessons only.

BEGINNERS: For pups and dogs 3 months old and up. Basic obedience and good manners, behavior problems and much more (Puppies must have at least 2 sets of shots & be somewhat used to walking on a leash first.)

CGC: Canine Good Citizen: For mixed or purebreds, training for 10 basic tests. You must pass all 10 under an official tester to get an official AKC certificate. www.akc.org Additional fee for testing

A.B. (After Beginners) A class to take after you take our beginners. Building on the basics, adding a few rally moves etc

BEGINNER NOVICE: For people and dogs who have been through our Beginners class. Start on focused attention and heeling. Build and expand on the basic obedience exercises.

NOVICE: (CD) First level of obedience competition. Perfecting your heeling, recall and finish off leash, all 3 stays off leash. Cover rules and regulations.

OPEN: (CDX) Competition style heeling, retrieving a dumbell, high and broad jumps, drop on recall, out of sight stays.

BABY UTILITY: Utility exercises for dogs just starting at this level.

UTILITY: (UD) The highest level of obedience competition. All off leash. Signals, scent discrimination, directed glove retrieve, moving stand, and directed jumping.

RALLY: A sport where you are timed following the numbers around the ring and stopping at each sign to do the obedience exercise listed. Extra commands, signals, and body language are allowed. This is a new entry level titling class from AKC. This is also a great class for dogs who have been through beginners and beginner novice.

TRICK CLASS Requirements – Our Beginners class. Parlor tricks to amaze and entertain your friends. You can now get an official trick dog title from AKC. Additional fee for testing.

CONFORMATION (Breed Championships): Stacking and Gaiting. Discuss and practice patterns, proper ring procedure, and etiquette.

SCENT WORK A new sport similar to what drug and bomb detection dogs do, only teaching the dogs to find specific legal odors instead. Lots of fun!
